DoctorPlan

I am a cofounder of DoctorPlan, which allows healthcare practices to provide efficient and intelligent care. The thesis of DoctorPlan is that health happens between doctor visits. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I used to travel to India several times a year to work with the team we built out there, which has grown to over 20 people at the end of 2020.

Highlights

• Rohit calling me with an idea. Rohit advised my previous startup and is a brilliant guy. Before our company, Rohit worked at Amazon, high enough in management to refer to Jeff Bezos as "Jeff". Rohit's mentorship since mid-2018 has been transformative in my thinking about product management and customer acquisition.

• Abhishek Arora's (one of our first iOS engineer in India) invited the team to his wedding. Indian weddings traditionally run hours behind schedule! :)

• Working with the team in the Delhi office. One of the first hires was Jayati, a brilliant designer - the image on the right is during a group discussion for optimizing our login flow. Jayati printed out each step of each possible flow and laid them out, so we could make the most intuitive flow for our traditionally older and less tech-savvy audience.
